Puzzled

After being busy for a few days, I decided to reward myself by starting one of the lovely jigsaws I bought a few months ago. I love Chrissie Snelling's cat art, particularly her elegant black cats. I was delighted to find this new one around last Xmas; it's called Romulus and Remus:

I've made a start on it, and here's the progress so far, after one day;

As you can see, I'm getting on nicely with the bowl of tangerines. Still haven't even managed the edge though. I've found the all the corners, but have no idea where 3 of them go.I think the one I've got line up with the bowl of fruit is correct, but time will tell/

Updates in following days.w

What a gorgeous jigsaw! I love the sleek black cats and their Roman tiled background.

It is beautiful, isn't it ? I wish more of her art was available as jigsaws - I found some lovely pictures by her as doormats of all things. Who'd want to wipe their feet on something like that ?

I just love the colours in this, and the cats' expressions. I think that the top one is saying "So ?", in a 'why should I care what you think ?' tone, and the lower one is thinking "You mean we weren't supposed to play with these ?"

They do look like that!

I'd just like it as a print. It covers two things I love: cats and Rome.
