I saw this and...

I was just checking on last postage dates for Xmas delivery and saw the Royal Mail's logo on their website.
  "With us, it's personal."
Maybe I've seen too many gangster movies, but that sounds rather sinister.

In other news:

I was kneeling down a few minutes ago, rummaging through the files in the bottom drawer of the filing cabinet, when someone tapped me on the shoulder. Slightly disconcerting, given that I'm the only person in the house. I looked round, and there was Diesel. She then jumped up onto my shoulders, and stayed there, purring furrily into my ear until I was done.
When I started to straighten up, she decided to step onto the nearby computer chair. She got her front end on the seat, only to discover it swivels. She was stranded for a few moments, back feet on my shoulder and front feet on this swivelling chair which didn't seem at all safe to her. Didn't want to go forwards, couldn't go backwards. In the end she went down, landing on the floor.

Claudia used to land on any back that inclined more than 10 degrees from the vertical when she was a kitten. She stuck like velcro too and was really hard to get off.

OTOH she loves being spun on a swivel chair, purring happily as she rotates. I do give her equal time both ways just in case. :-P

I'd love to see footage of that. It's the sort of thing that would be a hit on YouTube.

How's Tessa's eye coming on ?

It's completely healed and you can only notice the graft from close up. Because it doesn't cover the pupil, she's still got binocular vision.

I hadn't thought of filming Claudia spinning. I think my phone might do that, but Greg's getting a digital video camera to take to Bulgaria next year. We can test it on her!
