Pic request

Does anyone have a decent, clear photo of me taken in the last three to four years ? I need something to send to my friends in NYC so they know who to look for at the airport.

I'd prefer a photo sent digitally, either a digial one or scanned in. It doesn't need to be large in size, and preferably well under 1meg otherwise my email will break. If you have something suitable, but don't have my email address, post a comment here and ask for it.

If you know someone off my flist you think my have a pic of me from a party, feel free to pass the message on.

Would it not be easier to ask any local friend with a digital camera to take a current picture? I did have a look but the only ones I have of you are non digital and my scanner is not working.

I have a digital camera if no-one more local can help out- this may be a good excuse to steal the next book of you!

Does this one help? If this isn't clear enough, you could scan the hard copy I sent you...

(you can right click save it from here...)

You're just showing off what fab photos you take, are you ? :) It's a pretty good one of me, though my hair does blend into the background. I'm not sure I got any hard copies of pics from you though. I'm sure I'd remember that one if I'd seen it before.

*Is jealous of Twila's photos*

Thanks for posting it. I really do appreciate it and may well use. Will certainly save it anyway.

You didn't get the hard copy? I mailed it all matted and everything the Christmas after you were here...along with some cat toys and some candy...

hmmm...I wondered why you hadn't let me know you received them. Just figured you got busy. Well, now I know why! Wonder if it was the US Postal Service or UK Mail who fell down on the job!

I got a lovely box of food from you (I still have some of the Graham crackers and Hershey bars for making 'smores. Lemon curd works very well in the microwave in place of marshmallows). Much appreciated it was too. I was sure I wrote back to thank you for the gifts. It must have been that letter that went missing.
I just checked my drawer of photos and no sign of any from you though. Odd.

There were 2 different shipments...the second had the photo and cat toys, etc....odd. The second one was sent about a week or so after the s'mores fixins (for which I did receive a thank you note). It must have gone missing. I didn't put a tracking number or insurance on it or anything so I wasn't able to check up on it to make sure it arrived.

Bummer! Oh well! Enjoy the online pic :) If you need a higher resolution one if you decide to print it, let me know!

Hee :-) You look like you've been superimposed on that picture - I think it's the flash...

I was really there I tell you ! And I've got my own grainy and unimpressive photos of DC at night to prove it :)

Sadly it's unlikely I'll be at Evie's party, as I'm still dizzy in spite of the pills, and have to rest a lot. Give her a hug from me.

LOL ya, it kind of does...but yup, she was there!

And the sky really was that color. It was incredibly humid that night and all the sodium vapor lights that illuminate the various monuments and other downtown buildings left this insanely vivid orange glow through the entire city. It just so happened that Ms. G was aptly color coordinated. Just couldn't pass up that kind of photo op!

It was a lovely night out in a most enjoyable week. I got my own set a 'Guillotine' about 3 months ago, which I've played with a couple of times, and both sets of players enjoyed the game. Need to pick up Milles Bournes (if I got that right) too.

I have another game to get you hooked on...your regular crew of game players would probably REALLY enjoy it, too.

It's called Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot and it's a riot. You do need a good sized table to play upon, but it's worth it for the fun. We have all but the very last expansion pack. The more expansions, the more convoluted fun. Bizarre rules, wry humor and crazy pop culture references round out this hilariously nasty game of war. And the whole goal is to end up with one live bunny at the end of the game along with the correct "it" carrot. So all this skill and deception during the game really comes down to the luck of the draw if you got the right carrot. And the artwork is great!

That looks like fun ! It seems similar to the Cheapass games, which we love. I shall have to keep an eye out for that one. Thanks for the tip.
