Curiouser and curiouser

Putting away my shopping last night, I went to hang my new earrings on my display/holder. There was a gap between other pairs, but it was too small for the new pair to fit in an aesthetically pleasing way. So I rearranged a couple of pairs.

And in doing so, found myself looking at a pair of earrings I had no previous recollection of. They are silver (or silver-coloured metal), with about three small silver beads, finished with a spherical bead of turquiose. I have three other pairs of earrings made with turquoise, all of which look familiar. Not this pair. I can't remember if I bought them or if they were given to me, and I don't recall noticing them when I've been looking at my earrings lately - though usually when I'm looking at my collection, I'm looking for a particular pair/colour/design/material, and may not register anything that doesn't match the search criteria.

I'm starting to wonder if some of my pairs of earrings are actually breeding pairs.

Earring Display

This pic is slightly out of date; I've added about another three pairs since this was taken, about 2 months ago.

I found it and it does look easy so I will be having a go after Christmas. I don't know about breeding pairs amongst my earrings, more like Houdini pairs, I am for ever losing one of the pair in my bedroom somewhere. , that's why I need a earring tidy.
