Sing a song of sixpence

I was counting change whil I was in Glasgow and noticed a very dark-coloured 5p coin. And as soon as my attention was drawn to it, I realised it wasn't a 5p - slightly too large. I took a closer look, and as I suspected, it was a sixpenny piece

That's it, after being polished. It's been a while since I last saw one, so I've decided to keep it, rather than try and pass if off in my change.

The last time I saw one was when I was working in Oxfam. A middle-aged man and his teenage daughter came to the counter to pay for something. He gave me a handful of change, and as I was separating the coins to put them in the till drawer, I spotted that one of the 5p coins looked wrong. I handed it back saying that I couldn't accept a sixpence (he hadn't realized what it was)
Quick as a flash, daughter remarked: "Wow, shows when Dad last opened his wallet."
